What's in a name?

Sometimes nothing; sometimes it's just an effort to have a URL that hasn't already been taken.

Hi Blog World

Well my delightful beautiful creative wife is mad for this stuff so I thought I would get involved as a show of support - love you baby. Plus being a highly skillful procrastinator means I need to have a bag of distractions and this seems as good as any...

So here goes;
Today was a great day the sun was shinning, the sky was blue, the sea was blue'er and I got out there for a surf ski (wave ski) for the third day in a row! Today, for all it's natural beauty and splendor couldn't compare to yesterday when I had an amazing experience...

I live close to the coast of Adelaide (the mid coast for the locals) home to several humble surfing spots. All along the cliff tops that line the mid coast are walking paths and I often take the kids down to the 'boat park' (named so by my kids due to the play boat on springs located in said park) via these paths. At most points along the path you have an amazing view out across the ocean.

Whilst walking on Friday we sighted Dolphins cruising along late in the afternoon; on Saturday we again saw a pod of Dolphins catching waves - so cool. However on Sunday I was out having a paddle along when, not ten metres in front of me, three Dolphins headed my way in a two foot wave like the brilliant surfers they are. As I paddled closer they continued on their way but I could still see them porposing along together in the same patch of ocean as me. Wow, it made my year - words really can't describe how it felt. Just beautiful!

(These pics from Sat really don't do it justice)
